Just found the above on the Canoe Slalom website - dated 2011 and looking at the list of paddlers my rough guesstimate is that 40% havent paddled in years with several given up the sport altogether
Is there a chance that the list can be updated before Winter training gets up and running

Or alternately only those top ten ranked paddler , not bin numbers, are allowed to apply for paddle up. If you are in the top ten then you will be 'knocking on the door' of promotion. Anyone outside the top ten can then apply for a run as an official.

Demos are definitely Saturday morning for Saturdays race and Saturday evening for Sundays course

From talking to CP at Shepperton im under the impression the demos are now on Saturday morning (& Dan is planned as demo paddler!!)
Will speak to him again tomorrow ( Sunday) to confirm

You missed Option 5
At the bottom of the course ask the paddlers what penalties they incurred on their run.
Does away with any judges. And just needs a laptop connected to the scoring system

Must have been a temporary glitch as gone back on this morning and entry has gone through no problem.
Yes it was after you selected 'continue' after selecting the race as Div2 C1 Men

Alan - have tried to enter on line but when you select the category you wish to enter and press 'continue' the next page comes up with an 'Internal Program Error'. Not sure if you are aware of this but looking to enter my lad in Div 2 C1M and its easier on line
