I guess what Im saying is it is really important to talk about what the paddler wants to happen at a race beforehand and see it as part of the race prep format. That I believe is how we can positively help our paddlers.

Yesterday I watched the best kayak slalom run I have ever seen. It was amazing to see what was a incredibly difficult course done so well.

Its interesting to see that so many paddlers are getting experience of taking part in such a prestigious event. It must pay dividend for the future of their teams.

I would assume that most of the syllabus of the course, if not all would be a duplicate of what any qualified coach would have covered in the past.
