Nelo, new partnership.
New Team Partnership. Just a quick post to make it official, Fabien Lafevre said, “it’s been a while I considered to cooperate with Nelo and I am happy they accepted to be my new boat developer, supplier and sponsor. Nelo headquarters are based in Portugal and leads the canoe kayak sprint industry. ...

Re: Nice
The dirty water at Nottingham has often been treated as a bit of a joking matter within the slalom community, but I know of at least five paddlers who have become seriously and life threateningly ill from it. For some the illness's long term effects and worry of getting it again have forced some pad...

Re: Really boys? Put it away...
I understand PEAK are working on some wet suit shorts that incorporate a nappy, that should alleviate the problem of exposing ones self while going!

Re: Really boys? Put it away...
When you got to go, you got to go especially for the older males that were mentioned earlier in this post. I would suggest a portaloo at the start of each race as it is important to be hydrated and is hard to judge accurately especially when nervous at a event and after a warm up. I do realise there...

Re: Really boys? Put it away...
I think that football may well be the route of the problem as I remember being told by our coach to "own the pitch". These guys may be adopting this tactic by literally marking their territory, It is also a big problem in otber sports even Paula Radcliffe (a female would you believe) did it in front...

Cebe,
it sounds like Pinkston is feasible at the moment. Is there anything is place to stop charges going too high for slalom use in the future? The volume of water being pumped is obviously a factor in the cost of using artificial courses.

Re: Is Div.1 K1 Men Too Large?
No slalom paddler should have to travel abroad to be able to experience decent courses on challenging water. If that is the implication of a recent post on this thread then that would suggest to me that there is something seriously wrong with slalom in the UK. James One of the things that is seriou...

Nelo Price Decreases.
Due to the exceptional exchange rates for the pound against the Euro we are able currently give price cuts on all Nelo Canoes and Kayaks. This may not last as currencies exchange rates change frequently and fast.

Re: Is Div.1 K1 Men Too Large?
Seedy, I know it is a bit of a mess in Scotland at the moment and may take a long time to settle down. In the mean time there is no time to waste for the paddlers and they best do what the feel they need to do as individuals. As they say you can not keep a good man down, you can bet if they get very...

Re: Is Div.1 K1 Men Too Large?
Sven, almost anybody who puts in a bit of constructive training time can get to Premier. The standard is not that high in most classes when compared to many other countries. That is why it is important to get away and see how other nations do it. The problem some UK paddlers have is when they make a...

Re: Is Div.1 K1 Men Too Large?
There are many races around Europe where they have great water to race on. Get out there and do some, it will be a great experience and will help improve your racing no end. Many are not that far away. It's almost always cheaper to fly with the boat and hire a car than it is to drive and it takes fa...
