Re: SCA Code of Conduct
Peter To get an idea of how silly it is, try substituting 'Alex Salmond' for 'The SCA': you end up with something worryingly Stalinist! Even if it only applied to employees of the SCA, it would contravene what the UK Government has been doing recently to protect whistle-blowers, particularly in the ...

Re: Johnny Brown
How ironic! For several years I have been preaching to English coaches and clubs that they should follow the Scottish model, and in particular that they should study Breadalbane - not that I am saying that Breadalbane is better than other Scottish Clubs - but there is more stuff about what they do o...

Re: The Olympic Legacy?
At last, information on what is happening Legacy-wise at Lee Valley: Thanks, Elaine. However it confirms the suspicion I expressed in my post of August 23rd: that much of the misunderstanding on this thread has arisen from two different views of what a Club is. The giveaway is the figure of £1.7m. C...

But I am seeing Kate tonight, so I w...

Re: RESULT ERRORS - BE WARNED
A paddler can get an error on his/her own score altered, but it will not (as it used to) lead to everybody else's points being adjusted
