Town Falls/River Dee
Re: Town Falls/River Dee
The people with the barrier have no control or ownership of the Town Falls rapid, so they have no control of what happens there. They are the owners of the camp site and the White Waters Hotel.
Llangollen anglers and the Dee partnership do not control access on the banks or water of the Town falls rapids.
Running a event there would require permission from the railway, Llangollen council, Corn Mill bar and the cafe next to the bridge, the latter benefit financially from any event so would be unlikely to to say no. The railway have also been cooperative in the past.
There was great disappointment from the Town traders when the events were cut as it was a great loss to them so it is likely that they would very much support the return of events there.
