Re: Breadalbane Canoe Club

On behalf of the committee of Breadalbane CC SCIO . Breadalbane CC SCIO are delighted to have received this grant from SSE Griffin and Calliachar. We wish to clarify that the grant is to benefit the whole club and is not meant solely for our slalom contingent. It was not the committees' wish that th...

Re: publication of start lists

Having been the organiser for a prem/selection race for the last 3 years I have noticed a steady increase in the number of emails requesting confirmation of receipt of entry which is what led me to publish the list. Quite frankly there are many more important communications that need dealt with when...

Re: Tully 8th March

The car parking for this years race was £5 per car for the entire weekend and included the additional facilities of the town hall. Officials who did not have associated paddlers with them were not charged. I think on balance, taking into account the facilities we provided and comparing it to what I ...

Re: TULLY PREM ENTRIES

Hi, As some of you know the river rose rapidly on Saturday evening, this was due to a rapid thaw sending snowmelt cascading down the river network. Although it has been raining we haven't had enough to affect the river to that extent. The camera is fascinating to watch, but the information it gives ...

Re: TULLY PREM ENTRIES

Yep, the river has gone into flood overnight. A combination of heavy rain and snow melt. This should go down to more reasonable level pretty quickly ...unless we get torrential rain all week...But paddlers should be prepared for a pretty high water level on race weekend. We can guarantee that it won...

Re: TULLY PREM ENTRIES

Thanks Stephen, It is a wee bit more work, but better than a deluge of emails! I have been that anxious parent, especially after sending off a batch of cards early in the season and forgetting how far into the calendar I went. An online entry system would hopefully eradicate this problem as you'd ge...

Tully Prem Judges

Hi Folks, This event is not attracting many judges entries namely because the Div 1s are all doing selection and/or paddle ups. We have no choice but to ask each club who have paddlers racing to provide a minimum of 2 judges each (allowances will be made for small clubs). All late entries will be re...

Re: Tully Prem March 2014

The campsite is currently closed for winter maintainence and will reopen on the 28th March, too late for this race but perfect for the 1-2 in April.

Re: Grandtully Double Prem & Selection 30/31 Mar 2013

We strongly advise paddlers to come prepared for paddling in very cold conditions. Pogies and thermals a must! The forecast is not looking like it will improve. Heavy rain is rumoured for Thursday, which might boost the river a wee bit, but turning to snow again on Friday. If you are judging please ...
