Re: Lee Valley Div2/Open
I think I know why the change was made, but as I'm not the organiser don't take my word as gospel. The British Open has always been planned to be a "showcase" event for BC, and I think they asked the paddlesports club to run a div 2 as part of that showcase. The event was then advertised as a double...

Re: ACM Motion - Scrap discounts for Multi Class & Double Ev
I strongly disagree with this idea about the MCD although I do appreciate the argument of simplicity. I for one have definitely been encouraged by this rule, I certainly wouldn't have raced C1 as much and I probably would have stuck with K1 as my main discipline, let alone paddled any C2! If there w...

Will team "colours" be issued for those in the England Pan Celtic squad for 2016 ?
Where is the kudos in getting selected if there is no visible identity or recognition.

Re: Prizes
Trophies definitely.
Usable things are good as long as they are quality. Things like pens or carabiners won't realistically be used, and give off the impression to the winner that their achievements aren't worth much.

Re: HORNBILL CARDIFF BAY PREMIER 2016
Thanks for the clarification. Your info sheet (in first post) might need updating then, as it currently reads the following: "10 cumec (race level) training slots will be available on Saturday morning to Premier division competitors (8:00am – 8:40am, 8:40am – 9:20am and 9:20am – 10:00am). Please con...

Re: HPP Car Parking
Whiteyak you are correct, but you must understand that being restricted to the daleks is the equivalent of being banned - no one goes to HPP for the daleks!

Re: HPP Car Parking
Thank you djberriman, wondering how you came by this because it was very hard to find out what is going on, HPP don't seem to like corresponding with the WWR community. However that is confusing as WWR were only allowed to paddle when they had booked the course exclusively, so there would be no one ...

Re: HPP Car Parking
Thanks for the info. It's a shame but I guess expected, now that it's owned by serco that they'd start trying to squeeze money out of every conceivable opportunity. Also as they've banned WWR from training there for unnamed health&safety concerns... Hopefully it means they'll install proper CCTV tho...

Re: Portable points next season
I do like the idea mentioned by djberriqman. It would help even out the overlaps present between divisions.

Re: Lee Valley Feature Names?
Piccadilly is the river wide stopper drop as you correctly identified. Big Ben is the first of the 2 big drops. Then there's the Oval, named due to the cut out eddies on both sides. This is reminiscent of the current middle section of HPP. The stopper in this section is called Sideshow (the LV equiv...
