I appreciate much of the other parents/paddlers comments. I totally agree, there were two boats that got off the water, leaving just one Div 1 girl. I think I am right in saying that one of the guilty parties were of the Prem variety, not acceptable from such experienced paddlers. And just ...

Whilst I agree that safety cover should be provided at the lower division events I feel that very paddler in the higher divisons are accountable for ensuring that they are confident and can deal with the water levels on the day and withdraw if they cannot, this would be applicable for all paddlers ...

While we are on the subject of rules, perhaps UK 19.8 should be more closely followed, then perhaps parents would not have to make sure there Daughter is out of the river before chasing a boat down to Davies Bridge.

Hi Fatboy Yes they are for a saloon, the feet, fixing kit and the bars are all in with it, I've just bought a new Mondeo and they have changed the way they mount. I believe up to 2003 they use the peg style which mount under the rubber seal. 2003 onwards they use a socket head bolt direct on to the...

Well done to Kate for organising and running Orton Mere Slalom, seeing as CP is still a cripple (or skiving!!!).

Also really good to see a couple of rather well known Premier C1 paddlers supporting the youngsters.

PS The Chocolate Muffins are still as good as ever, well done Mrs. CP!!

:p :D

Nice one CP, a touch of basic trig. 2m x cosine of 45 degrees = a gate requirement with a width of 1.4142 metres plus. :p

Jim Croft, has work tirelessly for many years, and has allways done his absolute best, if anyone thinks that they can do a better job, speak up and give it a go! As for the pathetic individual who called him, with not an ounce of backbone, to air their gripes openly. We do not need that type of per...
