Shepperton Div 3 4 of 16th 17th June - postponed

Too much water this time!!
Shepperton SCC have had to postpone their Div 3 4 event this week end as there is far too much water.
They hope to reschedule to 21st 22nd July subject to Slalom Committee approval.
Really sorry.

Hi,
Did anyone find a white, wild water (but no stickers) helmet on Sunday pm after the Tees race? It may have been left at the parking overlooking the course near the travel lodge.
If so it's Harry's - No 26 prem.
He'll be at Llangollen.
Thanks

There are no judges on the start list.
Will those who have sent in a card get a run?

Shepperton is now on 4 gates and the course looks fine for div 4 and Div 3, which will be run in the sides on quite flat water.
Div 2 and above can do different gates 8, 9 and 10 in training and for judges runs involving crossing the wave high up - proper Sheppy style.

The course is up weaving up and down both sides, avoiding the main wave and involving a cross well away from the weir. A decision will be taken tonight and posted on the website regarding the div 4 event, but training opportunities should be good and the div 3 event likely. Worth a visit with good ...

I spoke to the Environment Agency office today and the certainty, I'm told, is all gates open and below the weir, high levels but still allowing room for our gates to hang!! So it is a fast flowing river with good eddies on each side. So come and enjoy. The Div 2 course is up and looking good. It w...

A thoroughly enjoyable few days. It was a real carnival atmosphere, with lots to do and all seemed to run smoothly. As one of the non- helpers - thanks to all the helpers and well done Anne and her co- organisers. Well done team too - all through to the semis, loads in the finals and two medals. Br...

Come to Shepperton on Saturday - coaching from 10.00 and loads free practice and then have a judges run and a team run later. The course looks great with a side spill sure to be open - could probably lend a boat too.
