Ah that's brilliant. Thank you and it explains why it was causing an issue for some. Spinning got you tight into gate 13, but seemed slower, whereas keeping the boat pointing downstream, seemed faster but through 12 took them low into 13. Is anyone going from the Washburn race back to London?

I have no way of getting there/back and I'm eager to use up any space in your car! I could meet you anywhere in London. I'd preferably want my canoe bringing too but could borrow one if needs must.
