Re: The Old Safety Chestnut
To respond in part: 1/ Not only how to swim but how to swim with your boat, also how to fit and check air bags (both bow and stern) if you are liable to swim. The additional weight is in grammes with a boat providing buoyant uplift in the order > 100kg so down to fractions of per cent. You probably ...

Hence the changes in Rules will require to be presented and voted in at the ACM this year, there is an option if the system is not going to meet exp...

Re: Grandtully Prem. Races #3 & 4
River continues to drop and is down to annual average flows @ circa 1m on the Gauge - perhaps the contingency should be to drop the ranking to a Div 2 race

Re: Grandtully Prem. Races #3 & 4

Wind swinging to the East holds the water in the loch but with relatively low winds forecast won't make much of a difference. Taking the Aberdeen juniors there for a training session on Sunday so can le...

Re: musings on the sport
Be aware the fourth bullet point - Event safety training is required for all nominated Safety Officers where the event is run under British Canoeing insurance. Effectively this is liable to include all Club based activity where Clubs use the BCU affiliation to provide for public liability insurance....

Re: Is Div.1 K1 Men Too Large?
