i don't actually know if the BCU are thinking of the idea, i heard just general paddlers talking about it, all of them seemed to think of it been a good idea. i am not to sure on either front, if this does happen, most of us wont need to worry as we pay to compete, but its those who are non paddler...

i saw the news on our local BBC channel. i totally feel for all those affected by the actions of some irrasponsible and total idiots. im sure my clubs West Yorkshire CC & Halifax CC (although i can't speak personally for Halifax CC) would be more than happy to assist in short term loan of equipment...

there is nothing that can be done about "inappropriate" paddlers been in the division, if they have skills of a good paddler when they got promoted out of div 4 then they will obviously excel in that division. just because their times are comparable to those of a Div 1 paddler doesn't mean they are...

totally agree. every paddler (especially the younger paddlers) are constantly developing. after a run that i feel was bad or could be improved, for either that race or another comp, by asking coaches or family/friends. if judge's sheets were made avaliable to see what errors we have made it would b...

In terms of using the technology for judging i think its a bit of overkill, but perhaps if a clear angle is ...

These typically produce ideas that get trashed (as they were thrown into the mix by firing from the hip or just being ill informed) but they DO ...
