Re: Orton Mere Div 3 / 4 MAY 17th & 18th

For all those who have not been to our site before, this is the best postcode to head for PE2 7DZ the post in the initial post is the closest to the campsite, but if you are camping still come to PE2 7DZ first to pick up the key for the gate. Because we get 90% of our entries on the day, I have no s...

Re: Orton Mere Div 3 / 4 MAY 17th & 18th

40 years of slalom! This special occasion must be celebrated by 40 timed runs around the course. So that’s 20 C2 entries please, don’t think that will qualify for a multiclass discount though as its only one class. Special dispensation to take creaking bones into account we will let you have 10 entr...

In the men's changing a cag with a K1 & C1 deck & a thermal folded up inside it.
A sd memory card.

Re: Orton Mere Div 3 / 4 June 8th & 9th

Saturday: Free Practice upto 9 oclock then organised practice, till the start of the event. We will take entries upto 11 oclock. The event will star...

Re: Injured, What to do?

For what its worth here’s my experiences. Since starting back racing approx 3 years ago, I’ve had 2 bouts of Tennis / Golfers elbow that have stopped me paddling. So first off find yourself a sports physio. Both times I have had this I have had to stop paddling for a while, the first time was for 3 ...

Re: This weekend - its THIS weekend AGAIN

OK the course is up, however it is very likely to change.
The heavy rain from Thursday night & Friday morning hasn't been very kind to us, but the river is dropping now, so we will have to make some adjustments first thing tomorrow morning.

See you tomorrrow

Orton Mere 14 & 15 July Cancelled.

With current water conditions we cannot guarantee being able to run a safe event. Additionally with the Met Office issuing weather warnings for the East of England for Friday & Saturday conditions are only likely to worsen. It is with regret we have decided to cancel the event. Anybody who has sent ...
