Not strictly true Sven, the motion in 2014 was an enabling motion that requires the Slalom Committee to draft and present the appropriate Rule changes. Hence the changes in Rules will require to be presented and voted in at the ACM this year, there is an option if the system is not going to meet exp...

River continues to drop and is down to annual average flows @ circa 1m on the Gauge - perhaps the contingency should be to drop the ranking to a Div 2 race :wink:

The River has dropped by .5m since Monday night, rain forecast today but dry through the weekend. Wind swinging to the East holds the water in the loch but with relatively low winds forecast won't make much of a difference. Be aware the fourth bullet point - Event safety training is required for all nominated Safety Officers where the event is run under British Canoeing insurance. Effectively this is liable to include all Club based activity where Clubs use the BCU affiliation to provide for public liability insurance....

Whilst both of you are correct, unfortunately many do rely on the support provided on the proscribed athlete pathway. Hence there may be a focus on domestic results over paddler development. there are already significant young Scots paddlers with some International standard experience and achieving ...

Since it is always stated that the reason for NGB (BCU/SCA/WCA/CANI) membership is to ensure that everyone on the water has an appropriate level of 3rd party liability insurance.
