i take your point and agree with it please dont forget the old time paddlers who at times will kick #### (sorry for the rude word) in the paddleing world but have not got the fittness against the youngerster any more but we still compete against them and i belive they look up to us oldies :)

well just a point of raceing but it has changed in the last 10 years it is massive. Very short courses now you never here of a 100 meter runner going up to say the marathon and the other way round like. Well all the courses are now getting under 100 secounds for the telly i geuss but back in the ol...

hang on it must have something to do with the new slalom course in holland. see there point as its ment to be built on the design of the 2008 olimpics, still they could for warn peopleabout where they are to hold selection eventsas the international calender is published well in advance :)

thanks every one but me not going to compete any more as money and time main reason and have done it for 20 years and need a break. The golf course is calling me.

ps if i come back there mite be some longer raceing other than washburn that would suit us old peolpe you know who you are :D

Just a note on promtion again and to help the debate Some k1 man has got 5 top 5 results and have not been prometed to prem this is due to the lack of numbers. Can i suggest that we turn the scoring around and give 1 point for a win and do it that way etc do yous get my drift. Then it does not matt...

well this may be on the same topic I race in div i and enjoy it and its ment to be my last year to compete. If i race and say finish 3rd in the race with say 60 paddlers in then i get lots of points. Thanks to the saftey cover on at Tully at the weekend i did not need it myself but that poor little girl did as she swam most of the rapid. I dare say she could paddle but fell in and did not have the strenghth to roll up at that point but any other day will be able to paddle down the course. Well ...

hello people My new sport of fore runners i can do as have done 2 for races this year and enjoy them as only have to paddle for 20sec or so. how about getting a select group of for runners pay them petrol cost etc and let them do all the for runners etc. they could also do a bit of judge ing etc if...

i aggre canoeing is a risk sport and when we enter the races we have to sign to say we agrre with it been a risk sport and danogrous sport.

I belive at some rivers we need safty cover as its a must no matter what level we are at :)
