funding is there to whoever can be bothered to look for it, its the same with anything. i was sponsored when i was in division 2, and i am still a sponsored paddler 2 years later. it might not be from sports aid or lottery funding sources but funding is funding at the end of the day and has helped ...

this would make prem near on exclusive.

those who get demoted from prem will more that likely win a large majority of the races in Div 1 and hence be the ones to get re-promoted at the season.

only a few paddlers would be able to challenge this and get promoted.

I would just like to thank Tees Tigers and everyone who helped in the running of the event at Abbey Rapids this weekend.

it was a fabulous event and i for one would love to see another div1 event take place there in the future.

just a further addition to the pain of the A1m... the motorway is undergoing expansion to 3 lanes after the A19 and Leeming. this goes up to the junction a Catterick which is 2 or 3 junctions before the Abbey Rapids turning. there isnt a convenient way of avoiding this either as its after the A1 & ...

because of the cancelled event at Bala Mill, we have opened our arms to welcome all those paddlers who would have competed at Bala

we have decided that all paddlers who entered bala will not have to pay a late entry fee.

we look forward to seeing everyone.
