Has anyone sent me a package that is likely to be underpaid - I've had a note from the postman requiring me to pay for delivery of an underpaid item. Last time this happened to me it turned out to be junk mail, so I'm reluctant to pay for something without knowing what it is! If this might be you, ...

A quick plea - please don't email me asking for confirmation that I've received your ent...

Hey! I didn't say there weren't any rocks.

I don't think it's quite as big as last year at the moment which is :-( or :-) depending on your point of view!

I should probably whisper this so as not to tempt fate, but Shepperton is probably quite a good place to try out new boats as there are not too many rocks!

Water levels still looking good and the snow should keep them that way as it melts. I have a good pile of entries, so keep 'em coming!

Judges In order to run this event as a double, we will almost certainly be requesting most if not all competitors to do a judging stint on one of the days. I appreciate this is not ideal and if we can get enough volunteers then I will try to avoid this, so: Parents, Chauffers, and Groupies Please, ...

The first div 1/2 event of the season is approaching - a double this year, by popular request - and I am starting to receive entries, so it seems a good time to remind everyone that entry fees have gone up and you are a year older :( ! Entry fees: Div 1 - double £26, single £16.25 Div 2 senior - do...

What on earth were you doing on the chatter boards on Christmas morning - was it just an excuse to avoid helping stuff the turkey!

If you are paddling as a Senior there is no need to supply dob.

Dob is however required for DV, U23, and all Junior categories

try picking up a few cards at the next event and see if anyone questions you

If anyone tries this I will be seeking to disqualify them from the event - an organisers life is hard enough without this sort of suggestion.
