The Llangollen Fringe is a local group who put on a small festival alongside the International Eisteddford with more contempory music, comedy and arts. The festival has a very good reputation and the concerts are huge fun, very good natured and have an atmosphere all of their own.

For the benefit and in support of paddlers they are laying on a concert on the Saturday night of the DeeDay Weekend (20 Nov) in Llangollen Town Hall. Doors open at 7.30 and there will be a bar.

The Line up consists of HAZAR : A Dozen instruments + 2 men+ Apple-Ina ‘…based on raw emotion, fusing organic with electronic, plus an underlying compelling quirky element all Hazah’s own….’. They played at the last Fringe festival to rave revues.

Hazar will be supported by DJ Earthdoctor, who also appeared at last Summer’s festival and possibly some other acts to be confirmed nearer the time.

Tickets are £5 and are available by credit card from The Market On the Fringe Tel. 01978 862857. There is a booking fee of £1 per transaction (i.e. £6 for 1 ticket, £51 for 10 tickets) which purely covers the credit card transaction cost to The Market which has kindly agreed to offer this service to The Fringe for Free.

It is also be possible to buy tickets at various shops in Llangollen if you happen to be passing by. They will also be available on the door on the day if there are any left however I would advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment as they are likely to be snapped up as the venue only holds 300 and fringe events are popular.

For more information visit www.llangollenfringe.co.uk.

Please support this local enterprise buy lots of tickets and have a good night!
