maybe this will be the next set of rule changes. 80-100 metre courses maximum. Totally enclosed, No practise, no pre inspection of the course. Extreme slalom at its best. Oh and only 1 run.

Be interesting at HPP if the first gate was just below the office drop with the entrance 5 yards above it.

All it needs now is heated water, a bar and a burger stand, then it'd be perfect :D

Its no more pathetic than a big football team having an indoor training facility for when the weather starts to affect the quality of the training of the players.

I think its good that someone has identified a deficiency in their training facilities and done something about it that works for everyone.

The UK answer appears to be to go to Australia for those who can afford it. If you cant, then tough, you have to freeze on HPP and dodge the horizontal poles in that 20 kt wind that only blows up the course on the odd occasion.

it looks ok but hpp has better feactures but the wind and water temp are the problems there so put hpp under cover and heat up the water and it will be super hint hint hint hint

yea, the idea of the course being inside looks cool, but it looks a bit boring...

ha ha ha you can't jus heat up the water. have you never done a biology lesson?

i must've had that lesson 100 times. the one where he makes you draw a poster at the end... then everyone goes to "research" on the computers.....

If they used the polls across holding the gate lines up as the main suport gurder, all they would have to do is conect them up with big bars and that would be the main frame.

Then if they got some canvas that would be easy to remove so it wouldnt decay in the weather and stuff, that way it would be cheaper and they could have it longer.

and a heater at the top for when there is an event and the water would carry the heat down.

The course at Krakow is excellent for training, even though it looks a bit boring. You can paddle back up most of it for repeat stuff, i.e. no walk backs.
For the Poles it's probably an option of training in the tent or not training in the middle of winter - know what I'd choose!
