Nick Penfold's recommendations for year end demotions were discussed and approved by the Slalom Committee at their meeting following the ACM.
Unfortunately. I do not have the details to hand. My recollection was that the demotion levels (in terms of points totals) were very similar to last season.
I do not think that there were any end of season promotions.

At this point in time I have no promotion certificates outstanding to issue, If any applications have gone astray please do contact me.
For information: Promotees from 4 to 3 have to send me their promotion slips issued by the organising club.I then send out the appropriate certificate.
All other divisions, the ranking compilers send me notification of a promotion in season I then send out the appropriate certificate.

Thanks to Nick for trying to get the lists up. There were errors in the ranking lists given out at the ACM, (such as Ian Masters C1 club being Proteus rather than the paddler below. Probably better for the club reputation anyway!)
Hopefully Jim/Ranking list compliers will be checking again before they go in the yearbook

All spelling errors are intentional and are there to show new and improved ways of spelling old words. Grammatical errors are due to too many English classes/teachers.

Not sure if the C1 Div 2 rankings are right either, some people seem to have gone from 1/2 way down to the top, without them competing in a race since the last results were published.
And I am sure that some of the events that full points were awarded were not quorate!
Just a thought, but now the old table has gone we have nothing to check against.
