Places to train near Coventry

Hello,

Now Nottingham is shut, I'm stuck for whitewater with gates to train on in the evening after work. There's the Leam in Leamington Spa, but it's flat.

Does anyone know any places near Coventry that might be an alternative?

Rugby CC train on the canal at crick rd Rugby on a wednesday night but again it is flat water

I live in Lincoln so I'm too stuck for slalom gates on moving water. My hope is that I can use Matlock. I went to Orton Mere at Peterborough but the weir was a nasty stopper with a huge boil and it's unlit. Matlock is lit but obviously controlled by the club. Nevertheless, I believe Matlock is closest to Coventry. Perhaps with the closure of HPP there's an opportunity for Matlock to make some money by offering a 3 month HPP exile's membership package?
