hmm top 10 is a rather vague wording, how does that work, top 10 of what? K1, C1, C2, Men, Women?

I believe in previous years it has been the top 10 for all classes

Can only apply to K1W; K1M & C1M as C1W and C2M are already mixed Prem/Div 1 so entitled to enter as Prem paddlers. So potential for another 30 on the start list ??

Historically it was not the top 10 paddlers the week before the event. It being too late to organise entries, accommodation etc. But teh top 10 at a predefined time before the closing date
This year with the entry being full before the closing date, it was decided not to invitation division 1 paddlers. An extra 30 paddlers would be an extra hour on the race timing each day, and a 9pm finish is impractical.
