Just to say that the 1st deadline for the BUSA slalom is fast approaching (5th Dec).

Check out the website for details of how to enter

(Basically down load a form on the site, stick your details on, get it signed at your AU and stick it in the post!)

Entries will be accepted after this date subject to space, but there will be an administration fee :(

I thought busa and slalom selection was all seperate. how are people ment to be able to enter student selection in c1 when they have to race senior selection in c2 for example they are not allowed to mix dissaplin in senior selection.

What happens to people who are not allowed to enter gb selection due to nationality but are doing busa.

Does it come off of senior selection list by points or by ranking (of only thoes compeating for busa) or is it ranking over every body?

Does it also mean students that are not raceing for senior selection and also dont race slalom generally have to register and pay the full cost to race in senior selection.

Some interesting comments raised!

With regards selection, I am under the impression that the responsibility for picking a team for the University Worlds lies with the BCU. Not too sure where this is written though.

I'll check to confirm your entries (just got back from a paddling week in Wales!).

Thanks,

Rob
