Last year the div 1 had water for the morning but afternoon runs had to be abandoned when the weir gates were shut part way through.

It was frustrating for the organisers as well as the paddlers, particularly as the gates had been open the previous night, but there is nothing we can do except hope for a few wet winters.

A bit dependant on late entries, and I know that there will be quite a few in div 2 just from talking to people. But rough times are as follows:

DIV 2 (Saturday)
Official practice runs 11am
1st runs start 12noon
Finish 4:30pm ish

DIV 1 (Sunday)
Official practice runs 9am
1st runs 11am
Finish 4:30pm ish

Forecast is looking pretty dry down that neck of the woods. Glorious sunshine for Saturday.

To be honest things are not looking very promising at the moment, but keep watching this space as levels round here can sometimes change suddenly. I'll keep posting.

Remember, the Div 2 will definitely go ahead - probably in glorious sunshine! So come for a paddle AND get a suntan!

The course is up - final gate positions and height still to be tweeked. It looks good. Two side spills are a strong possiblity so, if you were hesitating, come on down - Saturday only, of course.
