GOOD NEWS
LLANGOLLEN OCTOBER 2006

Following the BCU Board's approval for us to make a local access agreement I can now announce that the Llangollen anglers have given their go ahead for us to run the two weekends in October on the Dee. Thanks to Jim McConnachie for his negotiations with them.

Jim Croft and I have visited the town and met with the majority of the businesses on the river banks, who are all delighted at the prospect of the races returning to the town - as was the Town Council.

Thank you for your patience in this matter - it has up until now been out of our control. Let's make this a truly wonderful festival of canoeing and support the people of Llangollen who have continued to support our case over the last 2 years.
