When single day div1 events are put on a weekend with a div2 on the other day, which should come first ?

Isn't it better to have them as double days. That way both divisions get the most out of the experiance.

Even if not i think that it should be the same as the prem/1 debate. Prem Sunday div 1 saturday.

This discussion isn't about whether both divisions are on the same day or not, it is about the preferred order when they're on different days. There is another thread on the pros/cons of double v single events.

The idea behind div1 on Sat, div2 on Sun as my preferred option is to allow the weakest paddlers (ie.div2) an opportunity to do judges runs the day before the div2 to gain experience on what may be a hard course such as HPP.
Judges tend to be lower on Sunday. On a Sunday I think there would be more div1 paddlers judging a div2 race, than div2 paddlers judging a div1 race. Div1 paddlers are keener, and about twice as many as div2 attend races.
