I've just received an e-mail from the race organiser telling me that my entry cards for these events have arrived.

That's just put my mind at rest.

Thank you very much Terry.

Just looking at the current water levels on the Webcam and have to say I can't see many eddies?
I know the race this time last year ran on similar levels but think it was more a 'battle for survival' than a race.
Do the organisers have a back-up plan or will the race go on regardless. Think the weather forecast over the next few days is more rain but winds then swinging to the east which I believe does impact on the flow out of Loch Tay.
cheers Phil

The River has dropped by .5m since Monday night, rain forecast today but dry through the weekend. Wind swinging to the East holds the water in the loch but with relatively low winds forecast won't make much of a difference.

Taking the Aberdeen juniors there for a training session on Sunday so can let you know - but plenty eddies available at the current level on the webcam. Maybe get back to real slalom where you paddle gates on the rough rather than in eddies

River continues to drop and is down to annual average flows @ circa 1m on the Gauge - perhaps the contingency should be to drop the ranking to a Div 2 race

However noting that some rain showers are forecast for Saturday evening, should we be worried for Sunday?
