Tryweryn division 1 slalom 6/7 June

The Tryweryn div one race is approaching its' limit in terms of entries received

The limit for the division one event is 160.

While the race is also hosting the Welsh leg of the Pan Celtic, additional non div one entries will effectively be placed in the officials event, so that it does not compromise the div one entry. Previous years have seen a very small number of officials so we should be able to accommodate PCC paddlers as well as the division one paddlers within an 8 hour release schedule. It is likely we will run the event, with classes running back to back to facilitate the event, with paddlers taking a judging stint over the weekend.

However it is unlikely we will be able to host paddle ups, late promotees or a PCC team event.

I will accept entries on receipt of a card + fees (not an email, to be fair to those who enter by post) on a first come first served basis and look to post a list of entries over the weekend.

Unfortunately, there will be no paddle up entries available at this event, and any entries received will be deleted and cheques destroyed. Richard - is the Eistedfod on again - just went to book accommodation and found most already fully booked that weekend. Those thinking on B&B maybe want to book early...

Hi Craig

The Triathlon is on that weekend at Bala - I have spoken to the campsite at Tyn Cornel, and they are ready to take bookings. Hotel and Bed and Breakfast accommodation may be limited in the local area. If travelling in from other towns that have accommodation supply - Llangollen and Dolgellau are about 30 minutes drive time.

In addition to this, if any competitors cannot attend, due to the accommodation they want not being available - please let me know if you are withdrawing (I will not cash the cheques until the race weekend), as a reserve list is in place.
