Pinkston div 1/GB Vet and J16 Champs

There are still spaces on both days for paddlers to enter this event.

Pinkston Practice
The course for the event on Saturday 20th June at Pinkston will be set early evening on Friday June 19th. Swimmers use the facility from 6-8.30pm on Friday evening but we intend to run the pumps from 8.30pm that evening.There is an opportunity for paddlers competing on either day, not officials, to have a training session on the course set for Saturday, in an open session either on Friday evening or Saurday morning to help familiarise themselves with the water. Initially one slot per paddler.

The cost will be £3 or under per paddler, depending on demand, and can be booked on a first come, first served basis by e mail to:

The sessions are
Friday 19th June 8.40-9.25pm
9.25- 10.10pm
Saturday 20th June 7.00- 7.45am
7.45- 8.30am

There will still be 1 run official practice which is included in the entry fee.

We are not having a lot of success recovering the perpetual trophies so we can award them this year in 3 weeks time. If you or someone else is bringing them to the event please e mail me to let me know.

GB Vet and Junior 16 Trophies

The Veteran and J16 Champs will take place this year at Pinkston in Scotland on June 20/21st. If you won a perpetual trophy at Tees last September (Page 156 of the yearbook if you are unsure) please return it to SCOTS.

Craig Douglas will be at the Div 1 at Tryweryn on June 6/7 and can collect trophies there.

We are organising an evening meal at the Pinkston div 1 on Saturday 20th June about 7 p.m. (timings will be confirmed on the day).

Starter : Pakora/poddadoms + dips
Main :Various curries , rice and nan
Desert : Ice cream + various sauces

2 courses is £5 , 3 courses is £6.
