Those of you who are sending entries in already, please date your cheque no earlier than 1st September.

I will contact those who have already sent cheques which will not be valid by the time I take them to the bank in October.

Sometime closer to the event I will confirm who I've received entries from (last year I first did this at the end of July, don't expect much sooner).

Entries will only be excepted by post with a card and cheque.

Finally found time to put my entry in the post, see you in October!

I'll be at the Interclubs this weekend if anyone wants to pass entries to me there to save on postage.

Just to confirm there are still places left but you still need to send in a card and money to get an entry. Those that arrive after Saturday 1st October will be a late entry and thus will need to pay the late entry fee.

Actual start lists are now up with all entries received upto and including 1st October. Late fees will now apply to all subsequent entries.

The event info is also up but just for those who might not read it you do not need to pay a launch fee when you pay for parking it's included in your entry fee.

There are currently about 25 places left each day. Entries still only accepted by sending in entry cards and cheques. If we fill up a message will go out saying so.

Symonds Yat Slalom if now full. The start lists have been updated and everyone who sent in an entry that arrived before Sunday 9th October is on it. I will run a waiting list for those entries which arrive from Monday 10th onwards just please make sure your email address is clear so I can contact you if a space becomes available.

The course is being set up Friday morning so should be available to paddle by mid afternoon. Launch fees will need to be paid on the Friday but are included in your race fee for Saturday and Sunday.

Following a conversation I have had to have tonight with the car park owners can I be very clear about parking and launch fees.

Your launch fee for Saturday and Sunday only are included in your entry fee.
You have to pay for car parking over the weekend.
If you are planning on paddling this Friday you will need to pay parking and launch fees.
