Race Day Support

Great to see that Slalom Schools will be offering race support to anyone who wants it these races -
● Sat 26 August and Sun 27 August - Grandtully Div 1/2
● Sunday 3 September - Cardington Div 2/3/4
● Sunday 1 October - Nene Div 2/3
● October 7th and 8th - Shepperton Div 2/3
● Sat 28 October and Sun 29 October - Stone Div 3/4
This was very much how events used to work many years ago when coaches were largely volunteers and experienced paddlers attended many of the lower division events but the sport has moved on since then. Good to see some of the old good practices being picked up which will enable those who come from small clubs who may not have coaches to go to events or even larger clubs where only a couple of the clubs paddlers are going to an event to get race support.
