Glad you've all come back.This downtime was due to the way PlusNet setup security on thier CGI servers (2nd rebuild due to this).
They don't put proper controls in place between users, so that a user with a rogue or wrongly coded web page can cause problems for others. Some pages on the board need quite low security for the "web" service user otherwise the software won't run, but this leaves it open to change by other PlusNet users, even if it was by accident.
PlusNet offer CGI as a "free" and "unsupported" service, and it's starting to show.
